How flowery are you ?
It must be the spring feeling which lately makes me yearn for flowers. I'm planning to cover the walls of my small dressing room with a handmade pink flower paper. This morning, in quest of inspiration, I bought the Spanish AD edition which contained a full article on new flowery fabrics. I quite like this 30s industrial filing cabinet covered with cotton fabrics by Gaston y Daniela and so ideal for a girly dressing room.
and how about enormous flowers above the bed ? This is the bedroom of a Parisian couple living near Monaco. The artwork is a photography by British artist Marc Quinn entitled Nature morte aux fleurs. mmm....a bit too much non ?
I think I would like very much a paper mixing carnations and poems by Federico Garcia Lorcapics : AD Spanish edition - march 2009

Best of luck with the decorating. So much fun to peruse and choose and be inspired. I would have all sorts of feminine frills if I lived alone but I'm not too keen on having my husband surrounded by flowers! I try to have a mix of things. I would love to have my own little place on the Grand Canal in Venice though, where I would lounge about on lace pillows!

But that is why there are so many design choices, because their are so many different tastes. Enjoy the project!

And Garcia Lorca is one of my favorite poets: Verde que te quiero verde...
I love carnations too.
Makes me happy to bring in fresh flowers each week.
(or more often, if I could affford it.)

Also, did you take the last two images? They are pure magic. I adore your idea for poems and flowers wallpaper.
