...in the mean time...I give you a couple of snapshots taken a couple of years ago at the same period. Mimosa is one of my favorite flowers even in spite of its heavy fragrance. It takes me back to my happy childhood in Provence. Mimosa, Spanish saucisson and a miniature sunny side up egg....oh that would make me happy to start the week end in a bright yellow mood !.....mais en attendant, voici deux photos prises il y a deux ans à la même période. J'ai toujours aimé le mimosa, malgré son parfum entêtant. Il me rappelle mon enfance heureuse en Provence. Des branches de mimosa, du saucisson iberico et un œuf miniature au plat....je n'ai pas besoin de plus pour commencer le week end dans une humeur pleine de soleil !

Oh! Oh! Oh! We are about to plant mimosa in our garden. It is so very beautiful - vivid and delicate.
We have mimosa here too! I recognize those pretty little fluffy yellow orbs...next time I see one I will try to catch the scent...that I don't recall. Perhaps our version is not so fragrant as yours.
Glorious colour - Mimosa is a favourite of mine - except it makes me sneeze which is such a nuisance! I have to love it from afar! Have a great Sunday Francesca x

Dear Lala, I love Mimosa in flower arrangemenets ...but in small doses for the inside. Outside, that's a different story. Wish our climate would be more moderate.
