My Pop Up French Pâtisserie

I had my second Pop Up French Pâtisserie yesterday at El Rincon in Niguëlas
and what can I say... I loved it ! First we had the most perfect weather, the coolest
customers and of course the most ideal place to do it. I teamed up again with my French
friend Ingrid who greeted customers behind a wooden counter and packed their little cakes,
while I was behind my little cake glass case, commenting the cakes to customers.

I was so happy to see old and new faces, and meet some lovely people and of course,
to see them enjoy my cakes ! Something very exciting also happened. The night before,
Monchéri, Ingrid and I were having a pizza in the kitchen and I was telling them, about
my wish to have a Pop Up French Pâtisserie in the Granada area in a specific place. And
something incredible happened : the owner of the place came to meet me and asked me
if  by any chance, I would like to have a Pop Up French Pâtisserie at her place.
Can you magine my joy ! So, I'm now ready to bake more than ever......

What I like more with the Pop Up French Pâtisserie, apart from baking is sharing
my sweet passion with others. I love the fact that no matter how old we are,
we are little kids again when it comes to cakes and sweet things.

I couldn't resist taking pics of some lovely customers.

Once again, the event was successful. I was worried at the beginning as it was
quiet and then suddenly, people came all at the same time and I went back home
with empty trays. I want to say a big thank you to all of you who came.
You really made my day ! And a huge thank you to our adorable hosts, Carole and Dick
and Tinca's partner & cook Roberta, who helped with the decoration and lent me
her grandmother's gorgeous china and handmade embroidered tablecloths.
And of course, we're already talking about the next Pop Up French Pâtisserie !
