Flamenco festival in the Lecrin valley, south of Granada

The true beauty of gypsy women...

Restabal proudly hosted the 1st flamenco festival in the valley
We didn't know exactly who was who as the many artists
succeeding on the stage were not presented
but we knew Sergio el coloraito is one of today's best flamenco singers

I forgot my camera that night but luckily
my friends Tim and Lynn attended the concert
and this morning Tim very kindly emailed
some of his photos for you to enjoy

as ever I am so impressed by the zapateo (feet tapping)
the proud and fierce attitude

I love flamenco too. The music, the dancing, the masculinity of the men, the femininity of the women, the colourful costumes.....
