Expensive Spanish beauty

A long time ago, an ex-boyfriend initiated to me to the world of classic and vintage cars. We would drive through Paris streets in his minuscule Austin Healey. It was fun and I started to enjoy reading specialized vintage car magazines and even attend car events.

I need a new car and believe me, if I could I'd rather buy this Hispano Suiza than a new modern car...Alas, alas, much much too expensive for me !! unpractical too...I know...how about spare parts and servicing...sigh

this beauty is a Hispano Suiza Saoutchick cabriolet K6

I am car blind, I can mistake a Mercedes with a fitito.
My husband make fun of me for that incident almost once a week.

i too am a fan of vintage cars. (i've a thing for beautiful cars and gorgeous simple watches)i have no idea why. they seem to stop me in my tracks and my heart just skips its beat! i don't even know how to drive... maybe it's something from another life.

I hear you! We have a vintage British car that he bought before we met and we can't let go of it, even though the money would help during these hard financial times! This one is a beauty!

LOL! I have a post somewhere with a Hispano Suiza on it, too. I knew nothing about vintage cars, until I met The Boy (who has a vintage Jeep which is very fun to ride around in--perfect for a Sunday jaunt because gas is too expensive now for anything else).

I have been to quite a few car shows now, and have seen one or two gorgeous Hispana Suizas (I realize they are quite rare) and I wonder how it is that cars have gotten so boring and unstylish? I also want a 1956 Bentley coupe, but if you end up getting your far first, then I am definitely coming to see you for a test drive!

I hope someday you get a car that is as lovely as you are! You deserve it.
Hi, castle, no, I am not familiar with Malagasy music, so, by all means, if you have any recommendations, send them my way. I'm drafting up my CDs wishlist for Xmas.

Also, your invite to tea and cake in Spain has been accepted :-)

Greetings from London.

OH
MY
GOD

it's divine. I love old cars much better than new ones, too, but this one is the stuff of dreams.
