Missing the Alhambra gardens in Granada

These rainy days make me long for summer walks in the Generalife gardens of the Alhambra, when all the flowers are in full bloom. Right now my plans for a Valentine's romantic picnic in the Alhambra gardens is not likely to happen, unless on a wet bench or grass. Mmmm...not too comfortable is it ? Never mind, Monchéri and I will wait for spring to have a banquet of strawberries among the pink and fuchsia oleander flowers.

Have a sweet week end !

I will always remember my visit to those gorgeous gardens .. .
I especially love that long fountain with the goldfish.
Your picnic will be worth the wait for a perfect day!

I went to the Alhambra when I was a kid and I still remember how stunningly beautiful it is... Sebastian and I MUST go back together soon!

You have a wonderful weekend too! Love the pictures of the gardens...I remember visiting them, it was so terribly hot, and I had a battery powered hand fan that blew hot air all over me! It was still so memorable though...
It is nice to have the internet to transport oneself other places in the world, no?
Soon spring will come, and you will be so busy with your wedding planning!
