In an Andalusian kitchen

I've been thinking of revamping my kitchen lately....that is when I have more time.
My wish is to make it more Andalusian. Having lots of baskets around
and ceramics...lots of ceramics.

I love how my friend Pilar displays her collection of Spanish traditional ceramic jars
fom Jaen. She's a ceramist artist herself
and the pretty colorful mugs and bowls are her own design.

This is a corner of my friend Gym's tiny kitchen at her shop Camel's stop.
I always loved the tiny window and the Chinese basket next to the bottle of olive oil.

I also love how my friends Roberta and Tinka set up an outdoors kitchen
in their bar/restaurant el Rincon,
with white shelves and brown Spanish ceramics
and a great fake window with a mirror and green shutters. Love that !

They also use a cupboard outdoors to keep condiments at hand,
while cooking food on the grill next to it.

***

Tinka is is a fan of hats and aprons
and oh...look....she wears one of my pretty pinnies ! (the one on the left)

***

Wishing a good week !

ps : mine started a bit funny...someone pushed my car from where
it was parked last night so that this morning, I found it a couple of meters further
quite at the middle of an intersection and I now haveto pay a 200 euros fine ....
Completely surrealistic !

***

Dear Lala,

So happy to be back here at your Andalusian Castle after a not-so-brief hiatus!
I still dream of Andalusia (of course!).
And the kitchen is one of my favorite places in the house (any house! ;-)

Enjoy your week!
