My Advent calendar : 13, 14, 15, 16 and 17!....

I ended last week busy translating and doing another Christmas market
last sunday and here I am again...late with my advent calendar boxes...
but in the end, it's also fun to open several boxes at the same time !

On thursday 13th, I was in Granada to deliver a couple of aprons and see some new shops
and the quote of that day said :

If I can't have too many truffles. I'll do without the truffles. Colette

On friday 14th, I translated all day and then went with Monchéri to see a puppet show of
a modern version of the Emperor's New Clothes tale. The quote that day was:

Happiness is not something ready made. It comes from your own actions. Dalai Lama

On saturday 15th, I spent nearly all day baking in the kitchen and made pink pepper truffles
with dark chocolates to sell at the Christmas market in Nigüelas. Box 15 revealed one of my
favorites quotes by Nelson Mandela :

Let there be work, bread, water and salt for all. Nelson Mandela

On sunday 16th, I woke up early to set up my cupcakes and chocolate truffles
stall at the market in Nigüelas.
My friend Ana, next to me was selling her homemade mermelades.
She made a new one with chilis, which is just to die for......
and the happy quote that day was :

Pull up a chair. Take a taste. Come and join us. Life is endlessly delicious. Ruth Reichl

ps : I'll come back in a minute with the recipe of the pink pepper and dark chocolate truffles....

oops : I'm thinking so intensely of the chocolate truffles that I forgot day 17.....

well...today is a grey monday here and I'm making an apron for a little girl and the quote
lying in our little box today is :

My idea of Christmas, whether old-fashioned or modern is very simple:
loving others. Come to think of it, why do we have to wait for Christmas to do that ?

Hello Lala ... I just read that, and I have no idea how you do it all ! This is a super idea, so cute, and if prepared , i think it would be easy to create ... How do you make the little boxes?

I think that I procrastinate too much and do not give myself much praise for what I do know.. no credit to myself , I think it is an age thing for me, Take care and have a wonderful Christmas and new year. xx
Anne, the making of the little boxes is super easy...if i don't procrastinate much in the new year, i'll put a tutorial on the blog :-)

Now please, do praise yourself for what you can achieve...otherwise who else ? Hope the Christmas rush is not too stressful...
You too, have a very happy Christmas!
xo Lala
