A sweet place in Madrid : Mama Framboise

If you follow this blog since a little while, then you will know that
I am definitely a sweet tooth and one of my main concerns when I visit a city is:
where can we eat the best cakes in town ?

In Madrid, I was delighted to discover a French pastry shop and tea room
where I could easily have spent the whole day....
Merci Mama Framboise !

Merci Mama Framboise !

the only problem is that the cakes are so good,
there is always a queue

I tried the raspberry tartlet and the lemon meringue pie....and the
chocolate éclair...
gorgeous...the macarons could be better though

the next day, I came back for breakfast and had the brioche with
orange and lemon peel.....after this, I was thinking, if only
they could open a shop in Granada or.....perhaps deliver ?

Well, I guess in 2013, I either have to go more often to Madrid
or bake more !
You see, French pastries is what I miss the most here in Andalucia.
Gosh, I never thought a little brioche could make me so happy....

I won't say it had the same effect that the madeleine of Proust,
but nearly...

The queue I would not mid- it would give me time to decide which must be very difficult!!!
We should go to Madrid and you can show us all around :-)

I am not a sweet tooth person, but when I go to France I do have one or two, I love Poire tatin .. (think that is how you spell it) .. would try chocolate ones, as long as they are dark chocolate. When on holiday I walk so much , so that is my excuse :-)

Feliz finde!!
