Thinking of Frida and at last my etsy shop is opened...

My dear friend Gym organized a movie night in her barn the other day
and we watched Frida.
I've never seen the film and although it is a current cliché to become a Frida fan,
I confess I admire more than ever her appetite for life in spite of physical pain.

Watching her photos over and over,
I drool over her colorful and exuberant clothes and head dress
and the seductive poetry of her lifestyle....
and the tons of creative energy...
I could easily shout....
Frida, you are my role model !

Now, my modest news which is down to earth is : at last I've reopened my etsy shop
and it's here. (but I must say I'm not too happy with my photos..oh dear)

Oh I liked that movie a lot :)
There is big Frida Kahlo exhibition on in Vienna right now and I went to see it with my daughter who is a big fan of her. The best part of the exhibition were all the photos of her :)

Dear Lala, Congratulations on re-opening your Etsy shop. Your creations are always one-of-a-kind, so different and so lovely and artistic. Am off to teach a 3-day workshop but will soon spend a little time in your Etsy shop.

To me Frida is the equivalent to passion, that's why she inspires me and why I like her so much.
Good luck with your etsy shop!

I've watched 'Frida' several times. Didn't you love Alfred Molina as Diego?
Congrats on your shop. I'm off to visit....

Oh! Frida is just ..... well Frida. I adore her. I saw an exhibition of her work a few years ago in London and was mesmerised. I spent hours there. I have even done a talk about her in Spanish - a great challenge. Glad you love her, too.

P.S. Bought some notebooks at last! Thank you for letting me know that the shop is open.
