Life is good at Casa Amelia

La vida es buena en Casa Amelia.......

My friend Scarlett and her husband Chris recently opened their brand new venue at La Finca del Castillo Arabe, which is a rural retreat among orange and olive groves in the Lecrin valley. Scarlett whose enthusiasm always inspires me, has a lot of projects for their new venue. La Finca offers flexible accomodation from self-catering to full board and is also an organic farm. Scarlett who is a food lover plans has moved her catering business Casa Amelia to La Finca and plans to continue cooking classes and already started to organize food events at the finca. I missed the first one when I was in Paris but I went to her brunch last sunday and had a wonderful time. Even if the weather didn't cooperate - we had thunder and rain in the morning, a glass of cava (Spanish champagne) and the delightful and hearty food prepared by our hosts and a lively jazz band sufficed to make us feel happy.
Yes, life is good at La Finca....If you're around and want to attend her upcoming events or if you feel like a peaceful and relaxing vacation in Andalusia, check Scarlett and Chris site here.

Whatever your plans are for this week end

Dear Lala,
So good to hear from you and what a beautiful place your friends have.
I've still never been to Spain and must come very soon.
Yes, it's quite crazy that it's SNOWING here in New York.
Happy Halloween.

Hugs
