cake por favor !
This week end, I baked and baked......
Ce week end j'ai fait de la pâtisserie en mode intensif.....
I had a fun challenging order which went like this : Lala, please could you make a chocolate birthday cake which we do not have to slice and pick up with our fingers ? So, after toying with the idea, I made a paper cake stand which I then adorned with yellow meringues and then filled with heart shaped chocolate fondant cakes.....
It was a bit time consuming but I loved it because it was a way to mix my love for paper and my love for baking.....so I'm sure you're gonna see more paper cake stands on this blog in the near future....
J'ai eu une commande amusante à faire. Faire un gâteau d'anniversaire au chocolat qui ne se découpe pas et qui puisse se manger avec les doigts. Alors, après un peu de remue-méninges, j'ai confectionné un présentoir à trois étages que j'ai décoré avec des petites meringues jaune pâle et ensuite rempli de petits fondants au chocolat en forme de coeur.
C'était un peu long à faire mais j'ai adoré parce qu'en fait je combine mon amour du papier et mon amour de la pâtisserie.....et j'aurai sûrement l'occasion de vous montrer d'autres réalisations de présentoirs à gâteaux en papier, sur ce blog dans un futur proche.....
and the good thing is that I also attended the party of which no photo alas except this one of the young 75 year old birthday boy dancing sweetly with his daughter....
et puis, j'ai eu aussi le bonheur d'assister à la fête de laquelle pas de photo hélas, sauf celle-ci, trop mignonne du « birthday boy » de 75 ans dansant tendrement avec sa fille.
