Paris : little promenade in color

It's a long time, I didn't revisit the rue des Abbesses in the Montmartre district.
It was raining that day but it seemed to me color was everywhere as I was
strolling with my cousin......

...I spotted a flat to rent....do you see the green panel saying « à louer » (to rent) ? Do you fancy renting a flat in this lovely area, just near the little park ? Call + 33 1 53 09 23 53

...I loved this shop Ets Lion, a little paradise for foodies and garden lovers shop which exists since 1895.
We stayed a good half hour looking at all the exquisite packaging and food products, especially all the ready-to-make «riz au lait» and risotto.

....in rue d'Orsel, this colorful salon de thé made us forget the rain. Milk is a very cute and tiny place, ideal for a brunch on sundays, tea or a quick snack.

...little mushrooms details which made me smile....

....petits détails qui font sourire....

...my cousin on the left was wearing a marin sweater....just like our table neighbor which made me realize that yes, stripes are still high !

.....refreshing pistachio/raspberry combo

.....accord rafraîchissant pistache/framboise.....

...ideal little car to match my petite robe noire....

...and I end this little promenade with one of my favorite details - stolen in a wine shop - this vintage ad for Dubonnet liqueur...

After our little snack at Milk, we headed to the Marché St Pierre and naturally the temptation to buy fabrics was too strong. So I came back with gorgeous toile in linen which will soon be converted into aprons.

Thank you so much for your lovely and supporting comments on my last creation. You made me want to dance !

What a charming photo essay - it felt like I was there, perched on your shoulder. How nice to be in Paris, even in the rain.

I am in Paris right now and I don't dare go near the fabric stores in Montmarte. The last time I was here I bought so much fabric I had to buy another suitcase.
It looks like you had a lovely trip.
Best wishes!
