Sweet mule

Would you say as stubborn as a mule, as one says in French, "têtu comme une mule" or cool as a mule ? I find mules to be sweet animals. We used to see them a lot in the Andalusian countryside and little by little, they seem to vanish from the landscape. We stumbled on that sweet one, last sunday in the village of Saleres.

oops...looking more carefully I think this one is a donkey, isn't it ?

I don't know if it is a donkey or a mule but it has a nice face for either one :-) I wonder what has happened to all the donkeys you used to see? Where do they all go?

It is definitely a mule--across between a horse and a donkey. Donkeys are very petite with longer hair. It is a most attractive mule though.

Yep, it's a mule! Glad that in spite of the big move and all, you have time to get out there and do some mule-spotting.
I don't know the difference between a mule and a donkey...but I do know that's not a horse! Love the photo of him peeking over the balcony wall.

Whatever it is, it's photogenic and I'd love to see one walking the streets of Miami like that. I can't even imagine. :)

Yup, he's a donkey. I love a good donkey. I really, crazily love donkeys. Some day we are going to have some property and I am going to have a donkey (or two) of my own.
