Happy potting

These days, I'm succumbing to the sweet addiction of potting and planting. These blue pots are the typical Granadino painted ceramics pots in which I put lavender. They will be placed in the patio next to a big pot half filled with lemony thyme and sage.
The florist shop next door is also a sweet temptation. I couldn't resist to pick up this beautiful pot of hydrangeas this morning. They always have been one of my favorite flowers but of course they are a bit difficult to maintain here in Andalusia. I hope they will stand the heat in summer....
And after the potting comes the painting. Here are my brand new brushes - of course I needed a pink one, my hat, and 2 kgs of lime to start with. The patio needs refreshing and limewash is so cheap and also much more efficient towards dampness than ordinary paint, I thought it would be a good choice. So, these are all my simple plans for this week end...P as perky potting & painting...
Have a very happy week end !

ps: as you can see I finally had my camera back yesterday...not as 6pm as the transporter said but 6.10pm...isn't it wonderful ?

Your hydrangeas should be just fine in heat. We always have hot summers and they thrive here, unless the deer eat them! Just make certain that they get plenty of water...hydra!

Lovely pots. I got myself some pottery when I was in Spain on a winter holiday about 3 years ago.
