We want summer
I've been brave this week end and resisted going to the beach
and stuff myself with the traditional Sunday paella.
Instead I sat at my table and finished
the summer cards samples for Le Bon Marché in Paris.
with the help of a few gods, I gradually made
a Vestiaire d'été (summer wardrobe)

Le Mépris (Contempt) by Jean-Luc Godard...
You know, French avant-garde.
Location : Capri island and the incredible villa Malaparte
Actors : Brigitte Bardot, Michel Piccoli, Jack Palance
and Fritz Lang being himself
There's a movie inside the movie,
Fritz Lang is making a movie on the Iliad
the colors are just what I need
thanks for the inspiration
may the gods help with the order
ps : sorry for the bad photos of the movie but I still don't know how to capture an image directly from the computer. If someone could enlighten me on this, I would be most grateful.

Thank you for visiting my blog. Do you have an Apple Mac? If you have I can help you. Command+Shift+3 will capture your whole screen and Command+Shift+4 will allow you to only select the area you need and you will get an Acrobat file on your desktop which you can resave as a JPEG file.

I use Faststone Capture 6.0 at http://www.faststone.org it's about $19 for a lifetime but well worth it as you can capture still or moving images, frame, edge resize endless stuff and just with a click and drag.
Your work looks wonderful!! What an honor to sell your pretty summer cards at Le Bon Marche!!
Like you, I adore Elsa Schiparelli!! She is one of my hero's and inspirations. A few years ago I went to her exhibition in Philadelphia. I stayed for three hours utterly enthralled!!
Hope all in well in you Castle today!

Vos hicistes esas? Que talentosa eres.
These are gorgeous!!!
I've just returned from 3 weeks away. The last week in Mexico. Someday to Spain.
May I add you to my link list?
I must check out that movie....and how on earth did Jack Palance get in with that group of actors? I recently red "Greene on Capri" by Shirley Hazzard and Malaparte was mentioned in it. How I'd love to see Capri someday! Maybe I can "tour" it via "Le Mepris."
