A lazy sunday in the Lecrin Valley, south of Granada
Last sunday, Monchéri and I have been in love with the word "farniente" all day long. We went to visit ou dear friend Gym in her antiques and furniture shop in the Lecrin valley. After marvelling at her ultimate finds, we all went up to the roof terrace where Gym had a Morrocan tent installed and spent the whole evening there, chatting, sipping mint tea, reading magazines, dreaming.....
the view from the terrace...
this house belongs to a friend of ours
who now lives in England and rents it to a charming Spanish young man.
We saw him hanging some laundry on his terrace
and called him over to share a glass of mint tea with us

Monchéri and I are on a cooking job until wednesday.
We struggle a bit with the heat but it's fun and we love it.
I mean, the cooking job.....
More photos of Gym's Camel Stop Shop on wednesday...
in case you wondered, yes Gym painted these Indian fragments
on the inner wall of her shop's patio
stay tune !

visiting your friend Gym sounds like a dream. i can only imagine the special feeling of being in the midst of such a beautiful space with your Sweetie and friends that you love.
and you share these gifts by inviting your neighbor over for tea.
ahhh, sweet life! such a treasure...
That patio under the tent looks so inviting and comfortable, and the fresco/painting is gorgeous! Now tell us what you are cooking.
