Little shops and cool waiters in Granada

Las pequeñas tiendas, the little shops are hidden treasures in the old districts of Granada

Don't these eggs look great in bulk ?

my favorite little shop. It sells mainly fruit, dried fruit, olive oil and wine, candies

Please, señor Mayor de Granada, don't ever shut these little shops down and replace them by an ugly superette! ...and also make sure waiters in Granada look always that cool...

Oh. I love pictures of shops. And the waiters? I'm coming to Granada. Looking cool is an understatement. They are beautiful men. The second one is positively yummy. Great eye candy today.

Des vrais trésors..!
Grenada is sublime - I visited many years ago when studying in Valencia and holidaying in Tarifa and loved it beyond words...
Thanks, for me, this is a most enjoyable visit down memory lane..:)

Oh my goodness - I want to visit!! (I so agree with you on the charm of little shops when compared to superettes, or worse, huge grocery stores in malls ...) PS Thanks also for your very supportive and understanding comment on my proofreading fiasco post - I think it is only when one has been in a similar situation or works in a similar field that one can truly empathize - so I really appreciate your comment and suggestions.
You brought back so many memories of my only day in Granada a couple of years ago! Marred only by a slight accident with my daughter when we bought her an ice-cream which the shopowners assured us contained no dairy products whatsoever. Well, it did and my daughter was sick within minutes. Before that, though, we had the pleasure of visiting all these little shops and walking down the alleys and back streets.

Greetings from London.
Oh yes, very cool indeed! Such handsome men you have there...

And I join you plea to the mayor to not ever close down those little shops.

No wonder that's your favorite store, it's lovely. I love the old wood cabinets.

Mmmm...waiters looking mighty fine.
That olive oil too.
I love your photos, but have to agree as well, no to big box stores.
Keep the small guy, and the personality in the shopping experience.
