Turning tables in Granada.....

Would you feel comfortable eating while your table slowly, very slowly turns so that you could enjoy the view around Granada ? This is the experience proposed by this new circular restaurant called Manzanil in the modern part of Granada next to the Sciences Museum. Monchéri and I were about to have lunch there last week, but as I was watching my feet and saw the floor moving very slightly, I suddenly felt a bit dizzy, then rapidly too dizzy to sit down and eat ! Also I found the red "river bed" a bit too intense to look at while eating.....
but I do enjoy the glassed panels of the circular restaurant...

I love red but I think that is too much for eating...and the spinning...wooo...No! LOL
Maybe go in the night and then it is easier on the eyes :)

Men herregud, detta var otroligt abstrakt & cooooolt, vilka sanslösa bilder!

Agneta, the swedish one..
I'm not a big fan of heights, so I'll keep my feet firmly planted while I enjoy my meal!

I do not mind heights but not something that revolves - ooh, I'm going dizzy !!

We have two rotating restaurants nearby- one in Vancouver and the space needle in Seattle- I have eaten in both and did not enjoy the movement at all- the red river would have made it unbearable, I am afraid. Dining, if it is good, does not require gimicky tricks, that is a lot of wasted money.

Now that´s a very intense red "river bed", Lala!! Could you eat after all that dizziness (mareos)??
Anyway, your pictures are the best ones!!

That looks exactly like a restaurant I used to go to in California. I loved it, but then, its view was the sparkling Pacific Ocean!
The red makes seem like a sea of blood. Not to comforting while eating, uh, meat.

Otherwise looks like fun.

The view is lovely, but I would pass. I get very nauseous from circular motion these days...not a good combination for eating!

Lala I am with you... I get motion sickness and would not like it at all. Especially not with a glass of wine! There is a restaurant here in Las Vegas at The Wynn Hotel called "Switch", where the walls change while you are dining...art, colours, decor. Not quite sure about that one either!
Have a great weekend,
Nathalie
p.s. How is the wedding business going?

En tant que nouvelle expérience, cela pourrait m'inspirer mais je ne suis pas sure de pouvoir supporter le fait de tourner ..j'ai déjà du mal a supporter un manège
