I knew it was a mistake to leave some clothes hanging in the patio. The rain came unexpectedly last night and this morning as I slowly emerged from our warm little nest, I couldn't believe my eyes....Snow ! Esta nevando ! I shouted with big childish excitement.

But here unfortunately, it doesn't stay too long. No, we will not yet have the pleasure to see the village roofs covered with a thick layer of snow.

And yet, can you see how big the flakes were this morning ?

And to think yesterday was still sunny with clear blue Andalusian sky. I had been vanquished by a nasty cold though and couldn't actually go anywhere last week end except a quick visit to Gym's last fleamarket of the season. As soon as I feel better, I want to make wreaths like the ones below with laurel or rosemary and sage and eucalyptus leaves.

I can't believe you got snow! How lucky! I would love to have laurel bushes to make wreathes from. I do have a large amount of rosemary bushes though and they are so fragrant. Wonderful post, thanks.
Snowing in Granada! Crazy! It is raining like mad here in Barcelona and it is super cold! The weather has changed dramatically!
Odd to see palms in snow! The chubby flakes look like fun- there to cheer you up having had a sniffle- I hope that you are on the mend. I send best wishes and a big hug and kiss!
Cheers!

Hi Lala,
Was just talking about how much I love the snow last night at dinner. We've had a bit here. I'm looking forward to more. I sure hope you feel better and get to those beautiful wreaths.

Lala, feel better soon!
How exciting - snow! I know just how thrilling the sight of snow can be. I got to see snow myself in the past few days visiting Salt Lake City. It's beautiful.
But you have the double pleasure of snow with palm trees! That is quite amazing.
Snow is great for about a day or two, then I want it to go away. lol. You are so fortunate to have such fantastic weather in Spain.
wow! I can't believe you got snow, whooo whooo, lol! I'm sure you will enjoy it while it lasts, especially since it won't last too long. We got our first snow on Saturday night and it might snow tonight but not sure.
Palm trees and fruiting orange trees in a snowfall ... how amazing! I think I might enjoy that sight for an hour, but then would worry that it would damage the plants. But it does make for incredible photos! Thank you for showing us!!
Incroyable !! De la neige en andalousie ? Qui a parlé de réchauffement climatique , je trouve qu'il caille de plus en plus
Lala, I hope you feel better and enjoy your treat of snow!
