Friends and chocolate cake are the best

Sometimes, it feels good to stop the clock, to break the schedule
and say yes to a few hours of happy chatting with friends.

It's also a very good excuse to spend a comforting time making a chocolate cake.

I would say that baking is my no stress moment.

Melting chocolate with butter calms down
and its sweet smell takes me back to the soft round planet of childhood.

Parfois, ça fait du bien d'oublier l'heure et l'agenda
et de dire oui à une après-midi avec ses potes.
C'est aussi une très bonne excuse pour faire un gâteau au chocolat.

Pour moi, la pâtisserie c'est mes moments de non stress total.
Rien que l'odeur du chocolat chaud qui fond lentement avec le beurre
me calme et me renvoie au monde doux de l'enfance.

We were eight adults, one toddler and a baby for tea last wednesday,

all talking at the same time.

It felt like a merry holiday tea party.

Nous étions huit adultes, un petit garçon et un bébé pour le thé, mercredi dernier,
on parlait tous en même temps.
C'était très gai. On se serait cru déjà à Noël.
