Holiday souvenir in Morocco : Sidi Bouaki

sand, blue and white colors, good healthy food, quiet
in a few words this is how I would describe Sidi Bouaki,
a very nice beach 20 kms south of Essaouira

du sable, du bleu, du blanc, de bonnes choses à manger, du calme....
en quelques mots, voilà Sidi Bouaki, une jolie plage tranquille à 20 kms
au sud d'Essaouira....

les chameaux attendent le touriste qui voudra bien faire un tour

I enjoyed a long walk on this endless beach
but that day the wind makes it difficult to walk in the other direction

j'adore marcher sur cette plage immense mais ce jour-là,
il y a du vent et je peine à faire demi-tour

we had a nice simple lunch of traditional olives....

de bonnes choses nous attendent pour le déjeuner....

and a tagine which arrived steaming on the table

et un tagine qui est arrivé tout fumant sur la table

sometimes nothing beats a whole day of farniente on the beach.....
(because we never know when it will happen again !)

parfois rien ne vaut une journée passée à ne rien faire sur la plage....
(parce qu'on ne sait jamais quand sera la prochaine occasion !)
