High Tea in the romantic Müller gardens

At last, here are some pics of the High Tea event I organized last week end
in the wonderful Müller gardens in Nigüelas.

Honestly you cannot dream a better place to hold such an event.
People arrived around 6.30pm and left at about 8pm, which I totally
understand because once you're seated there, you just don't want to go !

As you can imagine, I was quite busy and just managed to take a
couple of pics during the event but I quite enjoyed photographing
the after tea scene when everybody left.

After all the stress, (especially on sunday as we had extra people coming
unexpectedly), it was nice to relax and feel the peaceful atmosphere
of the gardens.

In the end I also realize I didn't even have a chance to take pics
of the pastries and savouries we served...oh dear....

Anyway it went well and people were very happy. In the rush we also managed
to serve a gluten free menu. Well, actually to be honest, one table
complained with reason that they didn't have enough sandwiches.
They sent me a very nice mail afterwards to tell me so and
I realized then with horror that I forgot to serve them some savory tartlets.
Saying that I was stressed was quite an understatement !

l'on a servis....dommage...

The fun part was meeting people who follow me on Facebook
and talking about giving French pastry classes in England !

I send a big thank you hug to my little helpers Ana and Antonia,
and their mum Cecilia for their precious help,
and also to Marisa and Javier, the lovely owners of the Müller gardens
for being so kind to me and helping with the setting.
We already set a date for the next High Tea in the gardens :
september 14 & 15.
Hope to see you there !

14 & 15 septembre.
Alors je vous dis à bientôt !
