Romantic Müller gardens revisited

 Last week, Monchéri and I joined Marisa and Javier in their

wonderful romantic gardens, for some tapas and wine to talk about

our next High Tea event this summer.

La semaine dernière, Monchéri et moi avons rendu visite à Marisa et

Javier dans leurs merveilleux jardins romantiques, pour discuter du

prochain High Tea cet été, autour d'un verre de vin avec des tapas.

 Whenever I go there, it seems like going back into time into this

oasis of green.

Comme à chaque fois, une visite dans ces jardins est comme 

remonter le temps, dans une oasis de verdure.

 There are so many places to hide and dream. I came back the day after

to take more pics and noticed this old washhouse.

Il y a tellement de recoins où se perdre. J'y suis retournée le jour d'après

pour prendre d'autres photos et ai découvert cet ancien lavoir.

 We sat around this wooden table to talk, while drinking a delicious

 Sangria, Marisa made with lemons, ornages and medlars. A totally inventive

 recipe which I must try ! The bread-pizza topped with tuna and tomato had been

baked in the wood oven in the village, which for me made it taste wonderful.

On s'est assis autour d'une table en bois, en buvant une délicieuse sangria,

préparée par Marisa avec des citrons, des oranges et des nèfles. Une recette

totalement inventive que je dois essayer ! Le pain-pizza au thon et à la tomate

a été cuit dans le four à bois du village. Pour moi, ça le rendait encore meilleur.

What I like in Andalusia is that, you can't really be on the clock.

When Marisa told me, come at 7pm, I assumed we would be home

at 9pm. But then, more talk is done, more wine is poured and in the end,

we parted at 11pm. Late enough to watch the full moon over the hills.

Ce que j'aime en Andalousie, c'est qu'il ne sert à rien de faire attention

à l'heure. Quand Marisa m'a dit, venez à 19h, je me suis dit que nous 

serions de retour vers 21h. Et puis, on parle et on parle, le vin est généreux

et au bout du compte, on s'est dit au-revoir à 11h du soir. Juste à temps

pour voir la pleine lune rouler sur la colline.

 I can't wait to tell you all about the new High Tea event.

It will have a new twist with a touch of glam'.

 

J'ai hâte de tout vous dire sur le prochain High Tea,
