Wednesday market in the Lecrin valley
as it's market day. Mostly all women
carry their little trolley or basket
and surely I must be the only one here taking pictures
the preparation of a seafood paella, provided
we have the right pan of course...the biggest one

tools, sheets, fabrics....you name it....
this pink bougainvillea was patiently waiting for me
hope it will be happy on my balcony

photos by your devoted blogging hostess
ps: to the avid readers out there....nothing to do with the market but I'm trying to find out in which book Faulkner praises the art of doing nothing. Any hint? thank you !
no, I'm not preparing a tv game....

happy weekend :)
That first photo is especially wonderful.
i think it is so great that you have a favorite day in your village, how cool. it's like wednesday comes and you know that in no time you will be in the midst of all the goodies. like a kid in a candy store.
hope you find where your quote is from. have you checked google? sometimes you can type in a line and 'all' connected to it will come up.
happy wednesday!
I love bougainvillea...just bought one the same as yours for my back deck, it's doing swell :)
Your market looks delicious, especially the watermelon!! xo
