The cozy refuge of a painter in the Alpujarras mountains

The day after Christmas, a friend took us to the cozy and secret refuge of a painter
in the Alpujarras mountains, in the south of Granada.
The inviting fire and the warm ambiance made us want to stay nearly for ever
especially as it was so cold and foggy outside.

It was sunny when we left the Lecrin valley and suddenly
upon reaching the mountains, we found ourselves surrounded in a deep fog
Cold but so magical

Dear Lala, what a charming cottage. You must have had a very special day.
Are those pomegranates or are they apples on the tree in the last photo?

This place looks adorable, I could paint there, no problem :). Your photos are great, you captured the mood beautifully, I can nearly smell the open fire.
I have been in places like this in the Pyrenees, it is magical high above the rest of the world, small isles in the fog.x Renilde
