Sevilla inspired cushion in progress

I've just spent 2 days in Sevilla to meet up with a French friend
and brought my current work with me. After sketching summer fruit
for a new collection of notebooks, I thought it would be fun to make a
pineapple cushion. So I've started this prototype on white cotton. If I like it,
then I'll make it in linen.

Sevilla is a city which never fails to inspire me. This time I stayed at
Casas de la Juderia and fell in love with the combination of orange and
white in the patio just outside my room. It inspired me to outline the
pineapple in white.

I found a magical pen at my little paper shop in my village, which is
very useful to draw on fabric and can be quickly erased with the iron.
Unfortunately they seem to exist only in red and blue...so if you hear
of a similar pen in white, please let me know...

It was a bit chilly in Sevilla on monday morning to be able to carry on
my stitching work...but how I would have loved to sit in that patio and
work for a couple of hours....Hopefully another day...

quelques heures...Un autre jour, j'espère...
